Randy Garutti has a rich history with Union Square Hospitality Group, working from Tabla to Eleven Madison Park. Randy called USC home in the early aughts, beginning as our General Manager, and later, leading as Director of Operations before becoming the CEO of Shake Shack.

Favorite Union Square Cafe memory? “Family meals, solving all the world’s problems with the entire team each night before service, an espresso with Chef Michael Romano, and hanging at the bar picking up drinks from MTS!”

Most important thing you learned while at Union Square Cafe? “Enlightened Hospitality began here and always emanated from the team, guests, and community that is Union Square Cafe!”
